customers with twice the amount in a new, efficient and convenient package. The formula is packed with potent yet sensitive ingredients, such as the proprietary PSP, a protein blend of human growth factors, cytokines and interleukins designed to help restore and maintain youthful-looking skin. It also contains amino acids, a bio-mimetic peptide, and hyaluronic acid that work in conjunction with the PSP. Bio-Serum retails for $199 and will re-launch in its updated look on December 15th.

“The new Bio Serum packaging consists of an airless pump from the Mega Micro line produced by MegaPlast GmbH. This is the same pump used on all the Neocutis products. The airless pump is then assembled into an outer container, which is a soft-touch matte finish manufactured by Louvrette,” says Cathy Termolle, marketing director for Neocutis.

“The old packaging was not consumer friendly although the vials were travel friendly. The new airless pump presentation gives ease of use and over twice the amount of product at a competitive price,” explains Termolle. “The larger size was a request from consumers and physicians. Bio Serum is so loved people want to use it daily, not just as an intensive treatment.”

Potent serums are designed to deliver improved results quickly. “The new packaging reflects the technology and luxury of Bio Serum. It marries our signature Neocutis blue, which historically has not been used extensively in our packaging. It communicates the specialness or “star” factor that Bio Serum has within the Neocutis line,” she explains.

The outer container features an elegant, blue soft-touch matte finish topped with silver vacuum metalized pump and overcap.

The Bio-Serum Mega Micro pump has a reliable dual valve system and efficiently evacuates almost all of product’s contents. “The dispenser is 100% plastic to limit compatibility issues and it is designed to help protect the product and extend shelf life,” says Harry Blacklock, national sales and marketing director, at MegaPumps L.P., of Eatontown, NJ.

The medium-to-high viscosity pump provides precise and repeatable dosage and dispenses in any position (360°). “It offers a major benefit because Neocutis uses fine and fragile actives. The sophisticated formula needs to be protected against oxidation and against exterior pollutants. Mega Airless’ dual valves system offers the best protection for the formula. The container and the chamber (where the next dosage is held) are protected against oxidation and against the exterior environment,” he explains.

In addition, the package was given a clean decoration treatment, including silk screen and a vacuum metalized pump and overcap, MegaPumps’ Blacklock adds.
